Empowering Young Readers: Introducing Wonderbooks to Enhance Learning

Thanks to a joint grant between WFEE and the Rotary Club, the five elementary libraries were able to collaborate to purchase Wonderbooks. A Wonderbook is a book with audio built in, which allows readers to read along while listening to a professional narrator. This models fluency for students and supports comprehension. This can be especially helpful for all students, including our striving readers, language learners, and vision-impaired students. The librarians are excited that these books will make our libraries more inclusive for all of our students, and build their love of reading.
