The Shooting Star Society is group of donors whose extraordinary generosity reinforces our ability to fund unique and challenging projects in all of Winchester’s public schools. Members of The Shooting Star Society make an annual gift of $1,000 or more and enjoy “An Evening of Learning” each year.

On September 11th, 2008 award winning author Gregory Maguire of "Wicked" fame shared cocktails and conversation with members of The Shooting Star Society. Click for more information about the event (PDF).

The 2009 Evening of Learning will feature author Andre Dubus III, best known for his novel and film House of Sand and Fog, as well as The Garden of the Last Days.
