"Bee- cause" you came ...

The 2017 Trivia Bee was a big success!

You might recall that last year the WHS Faculty Team, three time winners of the Bee, went down in defeat. In an upset that came down to one last question, The Quizzly Bears won the coverted trophy. This year the WHS Faculty Team of Principal Dennis Mahoney, educators Mark Chase and Dave Benedetto rebounded. The Bears made it to the championship round but it was the WHS Faculty that took home the hardware. The WHS Faculty are now 4 time winners of the Bee, a dynasty that reminds us of another team we know...

Muraco's Fifth Grade team of Gabrielle Williams, Owen Thomas and Ridge Rogan won the Junior Trophy. Congratulations to our winners and to all the teams who played so well. In addition to our winners the WHS Faculty and the Quizzly Bears, the adult Championship Round included: The Local Bookies, BEE InclusHIVE!, Quizzical Fitness, The Grass Kickers and Alternative Fact Checkers.

The Bee is truly a community event with participation from the business community, parents, teachers, students and our senior citizens. Joe's Main St. Pizza provided us with pizza, Gloria's is gave us hotdogs, Starbucks provided coffee and Whitsons (our school caterers) brought snacks and water. Thank you to each of them!

WFEE is also very pleased that our long time event sponsors, Moriarty  and Pediatric Dental Associates, remain with us. Business Partner Waterfield Sotheby's International Realty continues to  support WFEE and sponsor the Bee, thank you! These businesses make it possible for our faculty teams to play for free: Skanska, Carolyn Nolan of Ameriprise Financial and Bonvie Homes, developer of the Winning Farm property. Round sponsors include: Core Elements Fitness, Mike Boyle Strength and Conditioning, Medford Center for Orthodontics, Pediatricians, Inc., McCarthy Enterprises,   Winchester Optical, and Meyer Orthodontics. We hope you will remember these community supporters when making your business decisions.
